Helicoverpa armigera (Cotton bollworm, Corn earworm)

According to Common "Moths of Australia" (1990), Helicoverpa armigera can be distinguished from the endemic species Helicoverpa punctigera by the presence of a pale area in the dark outer band of the hindwing.
