I'm not 100% sure this is A. canana, see ecample of that specues on NatureMapr Greater Brisbane region. I'm more inclned to think it is A. excelsa.

I struggle with these. I was trying to match the very dark, linear markings and then the paler patch markings. We had a similar one previously see Sighting 4583489 I was reading a description of one of the Acropolitis sp on line (I forget which/where) noting the red/russet scales below the thorax. This appear to be relevant to possibly all Acropolitis sp and I catch a hint of them on above specimen.
