I still think this is Palleopa innotata. The distinguishing fine dark lines on the forewings are very faint. Looking at the CD pages of Moths of Vic pt.5 the hindwings are paler, not so chestnut. The forewing veins are not chestnut unlike those of Paralaea porphyrinaria (c.f. Paralaea porphyrinaria ) The other distinction is its resting pose (not mentioned in MoV) with its wings held flat, even concave. In my experience P. porphyrinaria if resting with its wings 'flat' they are convex, when on a stick or more at rest they are very convex/curved around the body. I have uploaded, for comparison, 4 pictures of Palleopa innotata I recorded at Anglesea ~18km away (Apr 2018) see Sighting 4635248, 4635253, 4635254, 4635255 also P. porphyrinaria Sighting 4635245 recorded the same night

Looking at the Canberra records of Paralaea porphyrinaria see Paralaea porphyrinaria I wonder if there isn't another species represented here. There seems to be possibly 2 sp. - the chestnut veined P. porphyrinaria and - mustard coloured veined ones (including the D Hobern place/page holder one). Also Sighting 4435080 does not fit
is it P. ochrosoma ?
