c.f. Sighting 4572336 - is Salma marmorea now Stericta marmorea ? ALA does not mention a name change as far as I can see ?

No, the ALA does not, show a name change from Salma to Stericta marmorea. However the AFD lists Stericta marmorea, but not Salma marmorea. Both LBH and INaturalist still list Salma marmorea. The AFD includes the genus Salma but not Salma marmorea. But I note that the LBH text for Salma marmorea says 'formerly known as Stericta marmorea'.

Given that our policy is to follow the AFD in nomenclature shouldnt we revert to Stericta marmorea?

Í'm not sure this moth is ' the base' so, I'm not sure its O. thrysalis.

LBH: now S. marmorea is Stericta marmorea (formerly known as Salma marmorea). Thanks for heads up.
