Good work. Good luck.

Yes they could be earlier instars. But they do look to have a different body form (dumpy/spiky) also. Do you have any fresh wattle blossom. They might be thirsty (little moisture in dried out food) I know this is tricky as the Chloroclystis can have their hidden shelters in the old sprays. Good luck with the raising. Fingers crossed. I am impressed with you finding them. I never much manage to find these fellas at wattle blossom time.

Thank you @Choyster

Well done everyone on this important update to the highest ranking Australian citizen science platform mobile app.

With the platform's structural simplification and mobile app update, the platform is well placed to handle the heavy loads expected during the spring silly season.

Just yesterday, we received 1198 sightings within 24 hours!

@donhe I've updated the photos, pic 4 and 5 show 2 different shelters. I had to pull them apart slightly, otherwise they just look like a clump of flowers/leaves. I think I have 4 in captivity.

While it looks like Panacela lewinae that caterpillar seems to have a red head capsule which I cannot see here.
