Are the dark red forewing margins with their black spots absent here? Should this be identified as Chlorocoma (genus) as a consequence?

checklist of features MoVic pt3 CD page 2- A- face red (just visible), B - fillet white, C - antennae white (? dark fillets not visible - female?) D - collar red, green, fine white line. E - fringe thin yellow then dark red edge (with black spots at veins - this specimen has worn fringe so spots are no longer visible) F - mid-dorsal line yellow with reddish edging (again this specimen is a bit worn but 2 toned mid-line is distinctive) G - costa yellow with red edge (again worn but there) For me the mid-line is the clincher. CD p.1 "The similar C. vertumnaria is smaller with a cream central line on the abdomen."

Yes, MOV Sp. 3 does show zigzag white lines on the forewing.

I suggest C. assimilis (see MOV part 4, ref. C. assimilis and Key).: Face crimson, Fillet cream; Antennae cream grading to red, reddish pectination; collar narrowly red; Fringe, yellow to cream; mid-dorsal line yellow/cream; costa yellow to cream, red either end. Forewing lacks wihite zig-zag lines,
